21Shares is a Zurich-based issuer of crypto exchange-traded products, giving investors regulated exposure to digital assets through physically backed and actively managed ETPs in Europe and ETFs in the US. Founded in 2018 as Amun by Ophelia Snyder and Hany Rashwan, it pioneered the first cryptocurrency index product on the SIX Swiss Exchange and now lists more than 50 products on venues including SIX, Boerse Stuttgart, the Vienna Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange. Since November 2025 it has operated as an independently managed subsidiary of digital-asset prime broker FalconX, led by chief executive Russell Barlow.
