Digital ID is a UK-based supplier of identity, access control and enterprise mobility products, specialising in ID card printers, blank plastic cards, contactless cards, card readers, lanyards, ID card holders, ID card reels and card design software including its EasyBadge software. Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Stockport, the company serves more than 30,000 organisations across the education, healthcare, corporate and public sectors and has sold to customers in more than 100 countries. Digital ID was acquired by US-based AlphaCard Systems in August 2018 to form what the parties described as the world's largest ID card company; the combined business is now part of Barcodes Group, which has since rebranded as Levata. Digital ID continues to operate from its Stockport headquarters with additional offices across the UK and Europe, and trades as a Levata company.
