Dynamic Signal

San Bruno, CA Enterprise Software Acquired

Dynamic Signal was a San Bruno, California-based enterprise SaaS company that built a mobile-first Employee Communication and Engagement Platform (ECEP). Founded in 2010 by Russ Fradin, Steve Heyman, and Jim Larrison (the team behind Adify), the company helped large enterprises reach disconnected and frontline workforces with targeted communications, news, and employee advocacy on social channels. Its products included VoiceStorm (employee social advocacy) and a broader workforce communications platform serving HR, Comms, and Marketing leaders. By 2017 the platform was used by nearly 20% of Fortune 500 companies. In June 2021 Dynamic Signal announced a merger with SocialChorus in a transaction led by Sumeru Equity Partners; the deal closed on August 4, 2021, and the combined company rebranded as Firstup later that year. Dynamic Signal no longer operates as an independent entity.
