Eaze

San Francisco, CA, United States Cannabis Acquired

Eaze is a California-based cannabis delivery marketplace and retail operator that connects consumers with licensed dispensaries for on-demand and scheduled delivery of recreational and medical cannabis. Founded in 2014 by Keith McCarty in San Francisco and once dubbed the 'Uber of weed,' the company expanded into vertically integrated operations through the 2021 acquisition of Green Dragon, with locations across California, Colorado, Florida, and Michigan. After predecessor entity Eaze Technologies defaulted on a loan and was foreclosed upon in 2024, the business was reorganized under a new entity (Eaze Inc.) backed by Netscape co-founder Jim Clark and Thomas Jermoluk via FoundersJT LLC. In December 2025, Vireo Growth announced an agreement to acquire Eaze Inc. for approximately $47 million in stock, with the transaction closing on April 1, 2026.
