Element Labs was a Santa Clara, California-based designer and manufacturer of LED video wall systems, image processing, and lighting products for the entertainment, architectural, and signage industries. Founded in 2003 by Chris Varrin and Jeremy Hochman, the company provided LED video technology used on major concert tours and televised events (including Led Zeppelin, the Spice Girls, Super Bowl halftime shows, and the Emmy Awards). In March 2010, Element Labs' commercial products business was acquired by Barco, a Belgian visual display technology company, in an asset sale that transferred all product designs, rights, and intellectual property to Barco without the assumption of liabilities. Post-acquisition, the Santa Clara team became Barco's competence center for creative LED solutions.
