Frontier Car Group (FCG) is a Berlin-headquartered operator of used-car marketplaces purpose-built for high-growth emerging markets. Founded in 2016 by Sujay Tyle, Peter Lindholm and Andre Kussmann, the company runs consumer-to-business (C2B) buying platforms that acquire used vehicles from private sellers via instant-inspection centers and resell them to dealer networks at auction. Local brands include Cars45 (Nigeria), CarFirst (Pakistan), BeliMobilGue (Indonesia), Ototrink (Turkey), VendeTuAuto (Mexico) and Vendemos tu Auto (Chile). FCG raised more than $150M across seed, Series A, B and C rounds from Balderton Capital, TPG Growth, Naspers, NEA, Partech, EchoVC and others before OLX Group (Prosus/Naspers) invested up to $400M in November 2019 at a $700M post-money valuation, taking the largest single stake. OLX Group fully acquired the business in August 2020 and rebranded the operations as OLX Autos.
