Futureverse

Auckland, New Zealand Web3 & Blockchain Acquired

Futureverse was a Web3 infrastructure company created from the merger of eight companies (Altered State Machine, Sylo, Centrapay, and others) to build an open metaverse ecosystem. It developed The Root Network, a blockchain optimized for user experience, along with vertically integrated tools for AI, identity, communications, and payments. Receivers were appointed on 30 September 2025 after secured lender 50T Holdings called in its security; the business and assets were sold to 50T for US$4.35 million under a 13 November 2025 agreement, and creditors voted on 16 December 2025 to place the company in liquidation.
