Lendingkart

Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India Financial Services & Fintech Acquired

Lendingkart is an Indian fintech group that provides working-capital and business loans to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Founded in 2014 by Harshvardhan Lunia and Mukul Sachan, the company operates a technology-led underwriting platform and lends through its RBI-regulated non-banking finance subsidiary, Lendingkart Finance Limited (formerly Aadri Infin). Since inception, Lendingkart has disbursed more than INR 18,700 crore in loans to over 300,000 businesses across 4,100+ cities in India, with average ticket sizes in the INR 5-6 lakh range. After a downturn in unsecured lending and tightening RBI norms drove sharp losses, Singapore-based Fullerton Financial Holdings (a Temasek subsidiary) acquired a controlling stake in 2024-2025 and replaced the founding leadership, ushering in a turnaround phase under new CEO Prashant Joshi.
