New Dada (Dada Group; legal entity Dada Nexus Limited) is a China-based operator of local on-demand retail and delivery platforms. It runs Dada Now, a crowdsourced intra-city last-mile logistics and delivery network, and JD Daojia (JDDJ), a local on-demand retail marketplace connecting consumers with brick-and-mortar supermarkets and stores for one-hour delivery. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Shanghai, the company was backed by JD.com and Walmart and listed on the Nasdaq in June 2020. In June 2025, JD.com completed the take-private acquisition of Dada Nexus, delisting it from the Nasdaq and making it a wholly owned subsidiary.
