Panther is a cloud-native SIEM and AI SOC platform built on a security data lake. It offers detection-as-code, real-time threat detection and response at petabyte scale, and more than 100 out-of-the-box integrations across cloud, identity and SaaS systems. Founded in 2018 by Jack Naglieri, creator of Airbnb's StreamAlert, Panther acquired security telemetry pipeline company Datable in October 2025. Databricks agreed to buy Panther in June 2026 and completed the acquisition in August 2026, folding it into the Databricks security lakehouse platform.
