Founded in 2011 in San Francisco and a Y Combinator (W12) graduate, PlanGrid grew to serve more than 12,000 customers and 120,000 paid users across over a million construction projects worldwide before being acquired by Autodesk in December 2018 for $875 million net of cash. PlanGrid's technology has since been integrated into Autodesk Construction Cloud and Autodesk Build.
