Skybox

San Jose, California, USA (R&D center in Herzliya, Israel) Cybersecurity Acquired

Skybox Security was a cybersecurity posture management company providing vulnerability management, attack surface management, and security policy management software. Its platform delivered network modeling, attack path analysis, and risk-based vulnerability prioritization across hybrid on-prem, cloud, and OT environments. Founded in 2002 in Israel by Gidi Cohen, Moshe Meiseles, and Eran Reshef, the company built a unified posture management platform used by large enterprises and government agencies. After raising roughly $345M, Skybox ceased operations on February 24, 2025, laying off all ~300 employees, and sold its IP, trademarks, and customer lists (not customer contracts) to Israeli network security vendor Tufin, which launched an ExpressPath migration program for former Skybox customers.
