Synovos is a provider of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supply chain management, asset, and technology services that help industrial clients reduce indirect supply costs while improving efficiency and effectiveness. Founded in 1987 as Storeroom Solutions in Radnor, Pennsylvania, the company specializes in storeroom design and management, technical procurement, logistics and inventory management, asset hierarchy development, and outsourced indirect-materials procurement. The business rebranded from Storeroom Solutions to Synovos in May 2016 as it expanded its enterprise supply chain capabilities to global clients across Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Singapore. At the time of its acquisition, Synovos employed roughly 600 professionals at more than 200 client locations across North America and managed approximately $500 million of MRO procurement spend. London-listed Electrocomponents plc (later renamed RS Group plc) acquired Synovos in January 2021 for $145 million on a debt-free, cash-free basis. In September 2022, RS Group consolidated Synovos with its UK-based IESA business under a single global brand, RS Integrated Supply.
