Turbonomic (originally VMTurbo) is an application resource management (ARM) platform that continuously analyzes application demand and automatically allocates compute, storage and network resources across hybrid and multi-cloud environments to assure performance at minimum cost. Founded in 2009 in Boston, the company rebranded from VMTurbo to Turbonomic in August 2016 and was acquired by IBM in June 2021 to anchor IBM's AIOps and FinOps portfolio alongside Instana.
