TVision is an audience measurement company that uses computer vision and proprietary in-home panels to passively measure second-by-second, person-level attention, co-viewing and in-room presence for linear TV and connected TV (CTV) advertising and programming. Founded in 2014 by MIT alumni Yan Liu, Raymond Fu and Dan Schiffman, the company places sensor devices in opted-in households to capture eyes-on-screen attention data that is licensed to advertisers, agencies, networks and measurement partners as an alternative or complement to Nielsen-style panel ratings. TVision operates from offices in New York, Boston and Tokyo. In April 2026, TVision entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Viant Technology (NASDAQ: DSP) for $40 million, with the transaction closing in May 2026 and integrating TVision's attention signals into Viant's AI-powered programmatic advertising platform.
