UBTECH Robotics listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 29 December 2023 under ticker 9880, the first humanoid-robot company to do so, raising net proceeds of about HK$1.04 billion (roughly US$130 million gross) in the final Hong Kong IPO of 2023. It has raised repeatedly since: six follow-on H-share placements between August 2024 and November 2025, of which the first five raised about HK$4.37 billion net in total and the sixth, announced on 25 November 2025, placed 31,468,000 shares at HK$98.80 for gross proceeds of about HK$3.11 billion (about US$400 million). Counting the IPO, those issues total about 96.8 million new shares and about HK$8.69 billion raised, or roughly 19.2% of the enlarged share capital. Separately, on 31 August 2025 the company disclosed a credit line of up to US$1 billion from Infini Capital, drawable through share allocations, convertible bonds and expedited loans, alongside plans for a Middle East research and manufacturing joint venture; no drawdown has since been reported. In April 2026 UBTECH completed the purchase of a 43.01% controlling stake in Shenzhen-listed Zhejiang Fenglong Electric (SZSE: 002931). No further share placement has been announced in 2026. The year's capital-markets activity has instead been the full circulation of its unlisted domestic shares: 5,453,931 domestic shares were converted into H shares with dealings beginning on 17 July 2026, lifting H shares to about 87% of the share capital, and on 23 September 2026 the company filed with the China Securities Regulatory Commission to convert a further 17,581,288 domestic shares. An H-share incentive scheme was approved at an extraordinary general meeting on 26 August 2026. For the six months to 30 June 2026 the company reported revenue of RMB 1.27 billion, up about 104% year on year, on sales of 921 full-size humanoid robots, with the net loss narrowing.
