Verdeco Recycling is a U.S. producer of food-grade recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) pellets, converting 100% post-consumer PET flake diverted from oceans and landfills into custom-formulated rPET resins for personal care, medical, food and beverage, cosmetics, automotive, household goods, and nutrition packaging. Founded in 2011 in South Gate, California, Verdeco scaled to become one of the largest rPET producers in the United States, with a combined annual capacity of approximately 243 million pounds across three plants in South Gate (CA), Terre Haute (IN), and Piedmont/Greenville (SC). In 2020, Verdeco was acquired by EU-based private equity firm CUDOS Group, which has since financed capacity expansions including the new Greenville, South Carolina headquarters and innovation center that opened in June 2023. Verdeco markets branded rPET product lines (kleer, heet, ayr, thyn, and toll) optimized for clarity, hot-fill, extrusion blow molding, thin-wall, and toll conversion applications.
