VIA Motors was a United States developer and manufacturer of all-electric commercial work trucks and buses, built around its VTRUX modular vehicle line and VDRIVE integrated electric skateboard chassis for Class 2 to 5 box trucks, walk-in vans, service trucks, step vans and shuttle buses. Spun out of Raser Technologies in 2010 and chaired by former General Motors vice-chairman Bob Lutz, it was acquired by Ideanomics in a deal completed in January 2023. VIA ceased operations during 2024, filed for Chapter 11 alongside Ideanomics in December 2024, and its assets were sold to JVIS-USA in April 2025.
