Zeus Living was a San Francisco-based proptech startup that operated a furnished housing marketplace for corporate and flexible-term rentals. Founded in 2015 by Kulveer Taggar (CEO), Joe Wong, and Srini Panguluri, Zeus leased homes from property owners, furnished them, and re-rented them on flexible terms to relocating workers, business travelers, and remote employees. The company raised approximately $150M across seed through Series C rounds from investors including Airbnb, Initialized Capital, NFX, Susquehanna International Group (SIG), Comcast, CEAS Investments, and TI Platform Management. Facing financial pressure amid rising interest rates and softening demand in the corporate-housing sector, Zeus told property owners in November 2023 that it was 'struggling financially' and could no longer guarantee rent payments. The company wound down operations and laid off roughly 120 employees, transitioning its property portfolio to competitor Blueground. Zeus Living ceased operations by December 2023.
