Zilingo was a Singapore-based fashion technology startup founded in 2015 by Ankiti Bose and Dhruv Kapoor. Originally launched as a B2C online fashion marketplace, it pivoted to a B2B supply-chain platform connecting manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and merchants across Southeast Asia, South Asia and the United States, offering inventory management, financing, and digitization tools. Once valued at nearly $1 billion and considered a Southeast Asian unicorn candidate, Zilingo collapsed in 2022 after the board suspended CEO Ankiti Bose over financial irregularities. An independent forensic investigation found the company had not filed annual financial returns since 2019 and identified accounting issues around revenue recognition. Zilingo terminated Bose in May 2022, sold its tech assets to Swiss firm Buyogo in January 2023, was placed into provisional liquidation later that month, and entered formal members' voluntary liquidation in February 2023 with EY Corporate Advisors appointed as joint liquidators.
