TIER Mobility was a Berlin-based shared micro-mobility provider founded in 2018 by Lawrence Leuschner, Matthias Laug and Julian Blessin. It operated fleets of e-scooters, e-bikes, and e-mopeds across more than 260 cities in 22 countries in Europe and the Middle East. In January 2024, TIER announced a merger with Dutch competitor Dott, backed by an additional EUR 60 million equity injection led by Mubadala Capital and Sofina. The combined company subsequently rebranded entirely under the Dott name on 21 October 2024, retiring the TIER brand.
