Directly is an AI-powered customer service automation platform that integrates with contact centers to understand customer issues, automate common requests, and engage networks of expert contributors to train and improve virtual agents and chatbots. Founded in 2011 by Antony Brydon, Jeff Patterson, and Jean Tessier, Directly's expert-in-the-loop AI platform was used by enterprise customers including Airbnb, Microsoft, and Samsung to deflect support tickets and improve CSAT. In March 2022, CSS Corp (now Movate) acquired Directly's OnDemand business unit, including its GigCX services platform and global network of freelance experts.
